How to use your Personal Branding Photos in your business.

In this post, we’ll go over different ways you can use your Personal Branding photos to up level your business, achieve growth and spread your wings.

With the new age of social media, people are finding products and services online now more than ever. This means that your first impression is no longer when the client steps through the door. If they've been on your social media or website, it happens well before you meet face to face.

Great branding images can not only have a huge impact on your relationship with customers, but it's also one of the most effective ways to draw people in and build trust. This can help boost your profits and build a solid customer base.

Every brand needs content.

Your brand needs to be where the consumer’s attention is. Today, that attention lies across all of the digital platforms that people interact with each other on. Whether it’s Instagram, Facebook,Tiktok, LinkedIn, or any other platform, one thing is true - we all need content on a consistent basis to retain and attract our ideal audience.

Your bank of branding images contribute to your ability to connect with your customers consistently online.

Personal Branding images can visually illustrate how you work with your clients and allow potential customers to feel comfortable taking the next step in reaching out to you. This is why it’s so important to plan a Personal Branding Session ahead of time and have a cohesive approach to the goals we’re looking to accomplish with the resulting images - not only does it make the session go smoother, but it also allows us to capture the most relevant images for your business.

Website images

Using professional and up to date images on your website is the best way build trust and liveability with your potential clients. it can also increase your level of credibility and professionalism as people can tell that you have invested your own

If you own your own business, you probably have a professional website that talks about who you are and what you do. Using personalized and unique imagery on your website is one of the best ways to build your brand and instill confidence in potential clients who are just getting to know you. We can all tell whether a photo is a stock image or not, so having photography that looks high end and is completely custom to your business is key to having an instantly trustworthy website. You can further use your Personal Branding photographs for any Blog posts or articles you write and publish on your website. It’s much better than spending hours trying to find a stock photo that fits your topic and every image will be 100% on brand, too.

Your Profile Photo

Whether it’s LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram, updating your profile photo across all social media platforms is a no-brainer. In fact, it’s the first thing you should do. You can use a more casual portrait for Instagram and Facebook and a more professional/serious image for LinkedIn, or you can choose one photo for all platforms. The biggest benefit of doing this is consistency and professionalism. And this goes beyond professional platforms, too. Don’t forget your personal email profile photo, YouTube account, Twitter, Pinterest, and anything else you use online that you might not automatically think of. If a potential customer can find you on any of these platforms, you’ll want to make sure it stays consistent with the professionalism you present elsewhere.

Social Media Posts

Having an arsenal of branding images to post on social media is incredibly helpful and time saving for a solo business owner. People want to be able to connect with the you, the person offering this service (or product) so showing your face and your message with increase your level of expertise and trust with your ideal audience. Professional photography is also better than DIY iPhone shots because they do look better and indicate that you are willing to invest in your business. Most of all, having a portfolio of images saves you time - countless hours of hunting down appropriate images gets reduced down to just a couple of minutes scrolling through your own custom photo gallery

Email marketing

If you’re not building/keeping an email list of your customers, you’re missing out on one of the only safe ways to keep a client database.

Just relying on Instagram or a Facebook group in order to keep in touch with your customers can often result in the rug being pulled out from under you unexpectedly. There have been way too many tragic stories of people with massive followings having to start over because their account got hacked or suspended by Facebook. If you don’t have a separate list, outside of any other platform, you’re relying on an outside corporation for your livelihood!

But once you do have and maintain that client list, it’s equally important to stay in touch with your people. It’s so much easier to put together an email and create content when you already have custom imagery ready to go. My suggestion is to utilize content you create for your Blog or social media and repurpose it for emails as a way to reach those clients that aren’t on the other platforms. Your emails will stand out and you will keep up with being “top of mind” for potential and return clients of your business.

Here is a list of other potential uses for your branding images:

  • Course materials

  • Podcast Cover and promotion

  • Graphics for You Tube, or Tik Tok or any other platform

  • Banners on Linkedin/Facebook

  • Sales and landing pages

  • Client onboarding material

  • Other general marketing or promotional material

Investing in a branding shoot for your business will open so many doors in the way that you can know share your message and your business with your potential clients.
